Default How to make .m4v file for iPhone?

I upgraded today to Studio 5 and cannot export my project to
iPod format (.m4v) and have it play on my iPhone. Is there a way to
set the preferences so that a .m4v file will work properly on iPhones?

P.S. this was an issue even with Studio 4

thanks for any assistance you can provide,

There is currently no setting in CS to take advantage of iPhone's VGA (640 x 480) resolution, if that's what you're referring to. Production to iPod is set to 320 x 240, always.

cheers, d.

The iPhone requires a little bit of refinement to the default iPod settings. It can be done (at least it has been done internally). The best route is to create a custom production profile with the proper settings for the iPhone. That way, you don't have to fuss with it more than once. I'm trying to track down exactly what those settings should be (somebody around here has them saved in a production profile). When I find out, I'll post them.

Cool

http://www.avs4you.com/. I use it to convert for my iPhone and change between other formats.
