Default Need Help

Hi Everyone,

I would like to first say hello to everyone here and I hope my questions will not only help myself but also help other people that view the post.

I have made some help videos using Camtasia Studio 3.1 and not to bad I guess at doing that but what I would like to do is to add an index on the left side of the video like they have here.

http://video.techsmith.com/camtasia/...cs_showme.html

The videos I have made are very basic for sure. This is one of them.

http://www.recipmanager.com/help/rec...k-checker.html

Like I said they are very basic and would need to add nariation but wanted to wait on that because I would like to have an index or navigation on the left side as the first link I posted but I do not know where to start or what to search for at the forum.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT:

Not sure if this matters or not but this will be hosted on a Windows Server.

Thanks,

Ken

Ken,

You want to use the Camtasia Theater program, located in Camtasia, under Tools, Camtasia Theater. It creates the nice menu interface for presenting your Camtasia movies. The Theater only works with Flash files, so you may have to re-produce to that format if you haven't already.

Nice job on your movie, let's hear it now

Default No Voice

Once I figure out the Theater Program and get things the way i want it i will put a voice to it...

Really appreciate the reply and will open up the program and see what I can come up with.

Do you know of any video guides that may be out there that will show me some pointers.

EDIT:

I just checked the folder and it seems it makes different .swf files. Not sure which one Im supposed to upload to the Theater. Below are the 3 in the folder and all the ones i made so far have the same.

add-category_preload.swf
add-category.swf
add-category_controller.swf

Thanks,

Ken

Default Pretty easy

Not sure how I missed that but it only took me a couple minutes to figure it out. http://www.recipmanager.com/help/rm-...HelpIndex.html

I now have to redo all the videos since the site has been updated with many features and then add an intro with music and of course put voice to the videos... That should only take me a few hours to make all the videos but putting voice to them is going to take a lot longer because I know I will get all choked up.

Really appreciate your reply. You gave me the energy to get this going and RM is now finished with all updates and special features so its time to get this rolling.

Default Try this

The URL went to another line so try the one below.

http://www.recipmanager.com/rm-help/rm-help-guides.html

Working on all new ones this week. Pretty easy once I got directed to the right place.

EDIT: Got a different URL. Changed some things.

Thanks,

Ken
