I'm a new subscriber, testing out Camtasia Studio. I've been attempting to screen record the video stream of a lengthy TV programme hosted by the TV channel on its website. For the most part everything is fine - I've managed to generate a full .wmv file and the video plays as well as could be expected for a screen recording. But the audio runs ok for 36 minutes, then I then 36 minutes of white noise, followed by another 36 minutes of soundtrack, followed by more white noise. The timeline shows normal recording levels, interspersed by solid blocks of sound. Assuming that this was a one-off, I repeated the exercise with a different programme and got exactly the same results. I've viewed the transitions, and they appear to be time-dependent and not in any way related to anything on the soundtrack itself. Anyone got any thoughts?

We have the same problems... Is there any way to solve them? Great solution, but with such problems - it's unuseful.
Let me show how it looks like on timeline: ![]() You see noise, that is similar on each recording. We tried any ways we could think about - this problem is on Win 7, XP, Vista. On any hardware we tried, even on professional sound cards like Creative E-MU. Camtasia is the only soft able to solve our task... HELP US

Have the same problem, except for me i think it starts at about 44min in.
And the snut i was trying to record was only in the 50 or long so I haven't seen it repeat itself in a pattern. What is this......!? Oh and I'm running on windows 7, but as the guy over me said it's on vista and xp too so. Also I have a creative X-Fi Extreme gamer sound card. Last edited by Tasiauser; 11-12-2009 at 06:44 PM. |
