How to Delete Default "Introduction" Marker

I have added my own markers/chapters to a recording. After production an "Introduction" marker is present. Anyone have any idea how to delete it? The marker is not present on the timeline.

I have wasted hours trying to figure this out as well. Anyone?

Why the checkbox is greyed out is beyond me.

In the dept. of lame hacks, one can replace the title clip name or "Introduction" with a blank space.
