Hi Guys,

I have a quick camtasia studio question ...

I have recorded a 50:00 minute camtasia video
this morning and I want to split the video into
5 parts and label them "part 1, part 2, etc".

Why? So that the video loads quicker and my
viewers can click on "part 3" and skip ahead.

But every time I go to produce the project as
a flash / swf video it says "frame rate too big.
Make it a 5 size frame rate". error message.

Basically, I have already recorded this video
(it took me almost 1 hour) and now I want to
share it on my website as a FLASH file.
But camtasia won't let me produce it!

Can anyone explain how to do this, step-by-step?

Thanks,
Jesse

What does your CS recording consist of (PowerPoint, software demo, video)? What format are you trying to produce to (SWF or FLV)? It could be you're choosing the wrong format. For instance, if you've record actual "video", it's likely too large for SWF, try FLV or even WMV. You shouldn't need to adjust the frame rate in most cases. If so, see the attached images to see where to adjust if you need to.

Another option is to break the project up into smaller parts (part 1,2,3, etc.) them produce only the smaller segment. Then using Camtasia Theater to build the user "menu" interface.

Good luck.
