Customizable color scheme & Ribbon issues

I often capture images with dark borders. It is impossible to tell if they have or have not been captured correctly due to the black color scheme in the Editor. This, along with having to switch between Ribbon items to find the tools I need, decreases productivity considerably. I am a long-time Snag-It user (I started back when it was shareware), and this is the first release that has slowed me down rather than improved my ability to work. :(

It would be great to have the ability to customize the color scheme. It would also be useful to be able to use the "classic" UI. :)

Snagit9 has so many possible adjustments, but this important one I miss too and hope to see a improvement in the near future!

I have same problem. It is impossible to resize canvas to get nice borders because you simply don't see your borders from editor background.
