View Full Version : Camtasia Studio & DirectX 9.0b

Can't see avi movies in preview area when DirectX 9.0 is installed, exept when I turn off hardware accelration. No problems with DirectX 8.1. Is there a way around this problem?
This is probably a video card driver issue:
1. Does Windows Media Player play the same AVI?
2. Are your video drivers Microsoft Certified?
3. Do you have the latest video drivers?

3.I have a Gainward GeForce FX 5600 (256MB DDR) with the latest driver from nVidia (5.2.1.6).
Does Media Player work correctly with the same video?
The current release of DirectX is 9.0b. The subject of this says 9.0b, but in your first post you say 9.0. If you don't have 9.0b, please try intalling the current version and see if that solves the problem.

I have the latest DirectX 9.0b. Windows Media Player play the same movie without any problems.

Changed my graphics card to Radeon 9800XT and all my problems are gone! nVidia su%¤#%#%![}:)]
