Hi I am new to Camtasia. Purchased Studio 1.1.1 just before release of version 2.0 and have now upgraded however I cannot find where the drawing tools are for editing an existing video. They used to be in Camtasia Effects for 1.1.1 ie, polygon, elipse, vector text, image, rectangle tools etc... do they no longer exist for version 2.0?

I saw that there are some in Recorder now however I would prefer to also be able to add these effects to existing videos.

Thanks.

Hello,

Camtasia Effects is currently not included in Camtasia Studio but it will soon be available as a seperate standalone download.

Until then, if you need to use the features within Effects, I would suggest leaving Camtasia Studio v1.1.1 installed and using Effects that way. Camtasia Studio 2.0 and 1.1.1 can both be installed.

Thank you for using Camtasia Studio!

Hello

I tried the trial of CamT.Studio 2.0. Many improvments compared to version 1.1.1. But...

I wonder, when do you release the Camtasia Effects module for download?

The option for higlighting the screen (simple rectangles) belongs in the Camtasia Studio-editing not in the recorder only.
