I cannot stop Snagit from wanting to scroll! Auto scroll is not checked. All I have selected is image capture and region but it wants to scroll instead of letting me draw a box.

What version of SnagIt are you using? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

I have Version 6.3.0. No I have not tried to reinstall.

Reinstalling did fix the problem but I must admit I will be reluctant to ever try to use the scroll feature again.
