View Full Version : SnagIt 7.0 - Problem with TIF thumbnails

When the 'Open File' dialog in the SnagIt Editor is set to display thumbnail images, TIF files appear as black rectangles. The thumbnails for other image formats such as JPG, GIF, and BMP are OK. If 'Enable Preview' is checked, the preview of TIF images is OK, as is the image itself when opened in the Editor. It's only the TIF thumbnails that are hosed. SnagIt 7.0.1, Windows 2000 Pro.

The source doesn't seem to matter. Some are screen shots captured with SnagIt itself, some were captured with another tool.
I'll e-mail some examples to you.
