I have downloaded the evaluation copy of Camtasia Studio 2 and am having a problem with the editing of a video clip in the timeline view:

I have the clip in the storyboard view and can trim it from the end and the beginning by dragging the end markers. However I can't get the 'Cut Selection' tool to work in order to remove a section in the middle of the clip: I get the 2 green timeline markers (though moving one carefully using the arrow keys frustratingly removes the other marker...) to give a greyed out area between them but when I 'Cut Selection' with this area greyout, yes a section is cut but not between the markers but a totally different area !

I am doing something wrong ? My method agrees with the documented method.

You must be in timeline view in order to edit.

When in timeline view, hold down the shift key and click on the mark-in or mark-out point. You can then move it with the arrow keys.

Thanks for your message: you're right I was in timeline view (my second reference to storyboard was a mstake). The SHIFT selection also works nicely thank-you.

However the greyed area between the 2 green mark points is STILL not cut correctly - is there anything else I am missing ? I can always send a clip of this problem :)

Hello,

If you could send a video clip of this problem to support@techsmith.com that would be excellent!

Thank you for using Camtasia Studio!

I have produced a video but it is very small on the screen (640 x480)Before I produce the project I would like to reproduce each component (video) of the project to a larger setting. Is this possible or do I have to remake the entire video?
Thanks for any help in advance!
