I have purchased your product and now upgraded to 2. I have been recording powerpoint, and within my presentation i have music. I have gone to answer # 13. I have tried to map out my recording but i still have no sound. I really don't think that i need to record from speakers(sounds old). I have clicked on record, and i have tried using mic,wave,cd lines in, nothing seems to work. Is there something that i am missing. I have been recommending this product for powerpoint users but tell them that it does not record sound. Could there not be a feature that once you press record it does presentation and sound. Could you please help i love your product but advise people of this difficulty.

What kind of sound card do you have?

Do you have Effects->Audio->Record Audio checked?

I am fairly new to computers but i do believe that it is c-media wave device. Yes i do have effects, audio record audio check. My concern is that if my sound card isn't correct then i will have to purchase a new sound card?right. My hope would be i could find one free because after paying 400.00canadian for this program purchasing something else is alittle bit much. Unable to track my microphone to see if recording.

I got camtasia to record, i didn't have wave checked it was on microphone. The recording is very bad alot of hiss and very low sound. Any suggestions. Thankyou very much for your assistance so far.
