Recording Hiss problem

I'm using an ASUS TUSI-M with built-in C-Media 8738 audio. With no microphone connected, I get recording hiss. There are products that can remove it, but it would be nice if Camtasia had a built-in function to remove hiss.

Can you recommend sound cards that have good recording capability?

Can you recommend MicroATX motherboards that either come with NO built-in audio/sound or have a disable function or have clean built-in audio recording capability?

I just discovered Camtasia can separate the audio track from the avi Then I can reduce the hiss externally and add back the track. I have Ahead Nero and that may be able to do it.
