Video Capture-doesn't capture clicks

When capturing a window (or region) Snagit does not let me click on navigation buttons and does not register a click into a text box and so typing doesn't appear. The mouse pointer doesn't change and seems to ignore everything having to do with interacting with the page. Must be doing something wrong = anybody have any ideas?

If you are using Snagit for video capture, you may wish to download Camtasia from our web site. It is specifically designed for video capture.

In Snagit select Input>Properties>Video Capture Preferences and check Hide Capture Rectangle.
