I use image with scrolling region to capture text documents (and embedded photos) from web pages. When the document is sized to fit multiple pages, the last and first sentence of each page doesn't print out completely. By that I mean the top or bottom portion of the sentence will be chopped off. For example, if the top of the sentence is cut off, then the letter o will look like a u.
At first I thought it was a printer problem. But the same effect shows when I view print preview. Saving the captured image to a jpeg file helps a little. Any ideas?
What is the Input set to?
Try setting the Input to Window instead of region. You can left click to stop a scroll, as well as crop in the Preview Window.

Whenever I use Window or Active Window as input, it never works.
I always get the error message: "scrolling capture may be incomplete."
It doesn't matter which scrolling option I use: autoscroll, scroll active window, or custom scroll, I still get the same error message.
I've even experimented with the scroll delay - no help.
I can only capture using the input: region.
For best results scrolling, set the Input to Window and turn of AutoScroll. Hit the hot keys to begin the capture and then click in the middle of the window that you want to scroll.
If that is what you are doing, then:
1. What OS?
2. What application are you trying to scroll?
3. Are you running any desktop manangement software such as Hydravision or Window Blinds etc?
4. Do you have multiple monitors?

I set the input to Window, autoscroll off, hit hot keys, click in middle of window. But it still only captures what is displayed on the screen - doesn't scroll.
I'm using Win98 2ed, single monitor, no management SW.
I'm trying to capture the article on this webpage:

I did find a solution to my original problem (cut off sentences on multiple page documents): I use input set to region with autoscroll.
Then I capture only what I think will fill one page, leaving a little space at the bottom. This way I capture one page at a time. It's a little time consuming, but produces good results.
Thanks for your help.
Hello,
When you have your input set to Window, you need to have AutoScroll enabled, not set to off.
With your input set to Window and AutoScroll enabled, when you press CTRL+SHIFT+P and move the mouse cursor to the middle of the window, what does your cursor look like?
Thank you for using SnagIt!
