Does anyone know what causes this and how to keep it from happening. It changes the size of our videos from 800x600 - 801x601 or from 1024x768 - 1025x769. When a user attempts to play the shows back fullscreen it ends up distorting the video because of the extra pixel on the top and left.

Thanks,

Hello,

There has to be an extra pixel. If you want it to be exactly 800x600, try recording a 799x599 area using Capture->Input->Fixed Region in Camtasia Recorder.

Thank you for using Camtasia Studio!

Will there be a point in the future where the extra pixel requirement is no longer needed or is it an ongoing problem with the conversion?

Thanks.

Hello,

This technically isn't a problem, it's just the way it works. There has to be a 1 pixel frame, it's just a requirement of our Flash output. I'm sorry if it creates any complications.

Thank you for using Camtasia Studio!
