Capture does not paste properly in Outlook

I have used SnagIt for years. I use it primarily to capture portions of websites to paste into my Outlook based e-mail. It did a splendid job until today. All of sudden when I attempt to paste, all I got was a white box with a red "X" in it. I shut down Outlook and SnagIt and restarted; I shut down Windows XP and restarted...None of these corrected the problem. I successfully pasted captures to other programs, e.g., Word and Publisher, with no problems.

Note well: I am using SnagIt version 7.0.2.

Has anyone had this problem before? And if so, how did you solve it?

This sounds like a Microsoft / Outlook problem. Can you Paste into Paint?
