In Windows, you know how when you save, if you type a file name that starts with the same character(s) as files that exist, Windows drops down a small area below the file name field showing you files that match the string? Well, in V7, if I save such a file, it frequently crashes as soon as I type the first character. The error is "0x77fcbyyy referenced memory at 0x00000000. Memory could not be written" where yyy varies per the crash.
Once in a while, but not often, it crashes (memory 0x00000002) on a new nonsimilar file. Saving to Windows (that is, non-Mac volume) works.
