I am capturing images from a web application to go on a training CD. The CD creators suggest I provide them with "JPG's at 300 dpi". I didnt think that dpi was a parameter that had any meaning with screen grabs - that it was more of a printer concept. Correct? If no - where in SnagIt (7.01) do I set this parameter. Thx...

Hello Jon,
You are absolutely correct, DPI really doesn't come into play with screen captures, since one pixel on your screen is a "dot" anyway. However, if you are required to send them 300 DPI images, you can do so by using the Image Resolution filter on your captures. This will allow you to define the resolution that you want or need for your images. However, this does not really modify the image at all, it just defines the amount of dots that are printed in one inch.
Thank you for using SnagIt!
