Tooltips not getting recorded

Hi,

I am using Camtasia Studio recorder 1.1 on Windows XP professional. Anything I try to record using the recorder for example MS Word or activity from a Dreamweaver window, the tooltips show up while I am recording but they are not shown in the recorded videos. I did report an earlier problem on this topic a while back on Windows 2000 but it went away after applying SP3. What can be done for XP ?

Hmmm, that's very odd. Try going to Tools->Options->Program in Camtasia Recorder and select "Capture layered windows." Does that help at all?

Thanks for your reply. I tried what you suggested but after selecting "Capture layered windows" the tooltips don't show up at recording time. If that is not selected, tooltips do show up but not get recorded as before. Are you able to record them in the captured videos ?
