I'm trying to scroll a region but the scroll area extends the entire horizontal width of the window. What do I do to capture only the part of the window I want?
With AutoScroll enabled, capturing a region will always extend the entire horizontal width of the window. If you need to select a horizontal region, there are two solutions:
1. Enable the Preview Window. The Preview Window supports horizontal and vertical scrolling cropping.
2. Use Custom Scroll -- Input>Advanced>Custom Scroll. Custom Scroll allows you to define a scroll area that does not extend the entire horizontal width of the window.

I'm using Snagit 9 and having a problem with saving captured images. Everytime I save a captured image (usually as GIF or JPEG) the captured image includes the Snagit Editor screen elements! What i want in the saved GIF/JPEG is only what I captured, not the Snagit screen elements. How can I do this?

What did you capture? With which program do you open the saved images? What do you see if you open them on another computer?
Best regards,
Ute
